Teaching logic

The interest of the international academic community in issues related to logic education was expressed institutionally in 2023 by the Division of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science and Technology (IUHPST/DLMPST, https://dlmps.org/) thanks to the creation of the Commission on Logic Education (CLE), whose members are: Valentin Goranko (Stockholm University, current president of DLMPST), Cathy Kessel (Association for Women in Mathematics), Fenrong Liu (Tsinghua University, Beijin), Maria Manzano (University of Salamanca), Joao Marcos (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte), Ram Ramanujam (Louisiana State University, CLE Chair), and Sara L. Uckelman (Durham University). The primary goal of CLE is to promote broadly understood logical education in secondary and higher schools around the world. In response to this initiative, the Polish Society for Logic and Philosophy of Science wants to include in its scope of interest the promotion of activities undertaken in this area by Polish academics.

Depending on the type of teaching activities promoted by PTLiFN, we organize the information provided into those related to teaching at the academic level and those addressed also to recipients outside the academic environment, serving to popularize logic.
