Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) in Toruń, Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences offers a full-time post-doc position within the research project: “Non-Fregean approach to Dunn-Epstein’s content relationship logic” (National Science Center (NSC), Poland, project no. 2025/57/B/HS1/03496, PI: Dr Mateusz Klonowski).
Requirements:
+ PhD degree in philosophy, logic, mathematics, or computer science, obtained no more than 12 years prior to the start of employment;
+ Specialized knowledge of set theory, logic, semantics, and proof theory;
+ Academic mobility: the PhD degree must have been obtained at an institution other than NCU in Toruń;
+ Good command of English.
Job description:
+ Implementation of research tasks as outlined in the project plan;
+ Active participation in project team meetings;
+ Authoring or co-authoring research papers based on project results;
+ Dissemination of project results (participation in conferences, co-organization of scientific meetings).
Terms of employment:
+ Remuneration: 140,000 PLN per year (total cost of employment, gross–gross), including all mandatory social security and health insurance contributions.
+ Duration: 24 months.
+ Location: The employed person is expected to reside in Toruń for the duration of the contract.
+ Exclusivity: The successful candidate may be employed in only one NCS-funded project at a time and may not hold any other position apart from the one at NCU in Toruń.
